Nia & Andy's Wedding

It was a beautiful, warm, sunny, June day in Virginia City. Piper's Opera House was polished and dressed for the party of a lifetime, and St. Mary's in the Mountains, radiated as the sun streamed through the stained-glass windows, casting a glow throughout the chapel. Yes, the stage was perfectly set for Nia and Andy to exchange their marriage vows.

Family and friends gathered and watched as Nia, accompanied by her attendants, arrived by horse-drawn carriage. It was completely and utterly romantic~ appearing as if taken from a scene from one of the best movie scripts, as Andy watched her make her way down the aisle towards him. Hand-made, ivory lace doilies starched and shaped into cones, held fresh flowers attached to every pew. Nia's vision of a shabby-chic wedding and recetion were finally coming to fruition, and it was simply beautiful and evident in every detail. It was a day to remember for all who were in attendace. The love that this sweet couple has for one another is so evident.

I thank you Nia and Andy for the wonderful opportunity to know you and to be a part of your wedding day. I will always remember your kindness, your loving family, and the memories and images that will remain not only in my portfolio, but in my heart.
