Perfect Wedding Favors for Santa Barbara....

I had come across some beach favors and though I thought that this was part of the budget that I could definitely DIY, these were too cute not to share. My original plan was to make CDs (I have a ton of blank CDs and covers, one of my occupational perks and probably more music than I can think of) because that would be very cute, very us and very free! However, I am LOVING these beach-themed wine favors. We're getting married in Santa Barbara, so what better favor than something that combines my two favorite things about SB- the beach and the wineries! To keep costs down, I can give one per couple. What do you think?

Starfish Wine Stopper (100+ = $1.46/ea, 2-99 = $1.72/ea)

Seashell Wine Stopper (from 2-99: $1.72/ea and 100+: $1.46/ea)

Chrome Seashell Wine Stopper (for more than 72 it's $1.64/ea)

Personalized Wine Stoppers (100+: $1.92/ea)

Beach Themed Wine Charms (for more than 96 it's $2.60/ea)

Sparkly Starfish Wine Stopper (2-99: $1.79/ea and 100+: $1.53/ea)

Starfish Wine opener (50-99: $1.89/ea and 100+: $1.59/ea)

Affordable & Elegant Centerpieces

If you’re looking for an elegant, but more affordable, centerpiece for your big day, then we suggest that you consider submerged centerpieces. Submerged centerpieces showcase your flowers in beautiful glassware where the flower is pushed into the vase and is submerged underwater. They can be used with any flowers, and often cost less because you are using less stems than you would in a traditional centerpieces. Additional items that can be used in this way would also include fruit, nuts, artichokes, mini pine cones, and stones. You can choose to add just enough water, or fill the vase to the top, which gives the vase contents a magnified appearance.

Another Year Goes By!

So January 28th was Matt and my 4-year anniversary. It was quite exciting as we reminisced through the past year and how the Lord has blessed us! Here were few of the memories...

-Going to CU to dinner and received a BEAUTIFUL diamond necklace.
-Matt visiting me with Florida and taking a walk on the beach together.
-Dressing up in Jump Suits for the thrift store prom.
-Going on a quadruple date for Halloween and totally rocking the pumpkin carving.
-Buying his first suit together.
-Looking at him on the ground as I skydived all worried for my life.
-Going to Galleria de Paco for our 3 year anniversary.

Then on Saturday night we went on a date to CU again for dinner. It was so much fun. I love that place. Then we went to the movie Leap Year which was so exciting because the places that the movie was filmed were some of the places that we will be going this summer. So exciting to anticipate that trip! He also gave me a single rose and we dressed up for this fine outing as well! It was a great night! I am extremely blessed with him!

Face Lift!

For a while now I've been debating on re-branding MasterPiece Weddings. Not changing my company's name or doing anything crazy like that. I like the name - but modern'ing up my logo. Just so you think, hmph, something's different, but I can't put my finger on it...

I think over time I realized who I was and not who I thought everyone wanted me to be. Almost 16 years ago now, I created MasterPiece Weddings. It was always to help brides create the wedding of their dreams and that will never change. But with an awesometastic feel, and a modern and fresh twist.

But over time, we've developed a fun and romantical (yes, I said romantical) vision for our company. So, we updated, adjusted - but we have the same warm and gooey center that we've always had.

So without further ado, our new logo... whatcha think?
