I am currently working with the sweetest client by the name of Brianna who contacted me about a custom larger Annika hair piece with long wispy ostrich feathers.  I love the larger sized blooms and the dramatic feather details and I think it would look so pretty in a romantic up-do! a custom order for stacy

Stacy is the one of the sweetest people around. I first came across Stacy in late 2009 when she first bought a flower from me and I have been so fortunate to have her continued support through numerous purchases since. I was so thrilled to hear from her again just recently and this time she had the most exciting news.... she was engaged! I jumped up and down when I heard her news and I was even more excited when she asked me to create a hair piece and sash for her big day.

As I wrote to Stacy just yesterday, while I love the creative freedom of custom work it can sometimes be both a blessing and curse. So much so that for Stacy's sash I ended up making her two to choose from because I just couldn't decide myself!

I thought I'd share some photos of the pieces because I love how they turned out xx

a custom creation

A pretty custom piece I've been working on with the lovely Tricia. It's a mixture of the Isabella and Audrina hair flowers... combining a little bit of pink champagne with some ivory hues. Ohh I love!

One thing I have come to realise is that you're either a pink girl... or you're not a pink girl... and I certainly LOVE pink!  To be honest, I'm not really a fan of candy pink or anything lolly like, but I do love soft pinks like blush tones, light pink, even pastel pink... ooh la la!

I recently received a custom order for 3 pink champagne bridesmaids hair flowers - I jumped at the opportunity because I was excited to see what I would come up with. Here are some pics!

I love custom orders because they give me the best excuse to experiment with different colours and combinations.  One of my latest custom orders is a variation of a piece I have in store but in red and black to work in with the lovely Joelle's retro glam wedding!  Retro fun!

A custom order by the lovely Melissa lead to my newest piece in store... a cluster of 3 flowers in various sizes. How lovely! 

pink champagne

I must say, I really like the colour champagne. Whether it's a pink champagne or even with more of a cream hue, there's something so soft and gorgeous about it. It always reminds me of a sugary sweet dessert...

I just finished a custom piece for a darling customer by the name of Annie. The lovely Annie placed an order for a pink champagne satin sash to match a fascinator in store for her upcoming wedding. I think the set looks so lovely together - Yum!

modern day bouquet

A lovely Etsian recently put an order in for 4 customised Annabella and Charlie clutches in ivory and cream tones. What I loved most about this order was that these clutches would be used by her bridesmaids instead of floral bouquets on her wedding day. So lovely!

I couldn't resist taking some photos of them before I ship them away on Monday morning...

These clutches will be accents to her bridesmaid's gorgeous black dresses - simple elegance!
