Oh! No! Not That!

I recieved this Pleading Uh Oh! from a bride:

I was wondering if you had any tips for getting a stain out of a satin wedding dress? I was trying mine on and I must have slipped against a piece of furniture and now, of course, there is a mark on my dress. Do you have any tips?

Why yes I do! But first it depends on the stain... is it a smudge or furniture lacquer, food… what color is it?

I think it's furniture lacquer! HELP!

Okay, first try this…

Take some alcohol first blot (blot not rub) the stain… then some WD-40… don’t laugh, really! If it’s an oil based stain WD-40 is a miracle worker!!! It can also be used to help remove a grease spot. Lightly spray the spot with the WD40 and let it sit for a few minutes. Then work in dishwashing liquid and flush with hot water.

Or you could use dishwashing liquid which will help dissolve the grease much like it does when you are using it to wash dishes! Launder the item as usual or dry clean…

And volia, the stain is gone!!!
