Thank you to all the brides who attended the Bridal Showcase.
Yes, bridal fairs are such wonderful events...happy, exciting and fun events! There will be fantastic vendors, capable and generous with their time and expertise. You will come away with brochures and business cards and so many marvelous ideas and options.
Plan to spend several hours there. You will love the models in wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses that will be featured in the fashion show. It is so helpful to be able to see each dress up close and touch the fabrics and ask the models to turn, etc. You just can't do that with a runway show. This will actually help you determine the designer and style for your wedding dress.
The sample wedding table settings and wedding decoration vendors are also very helpful in planning a theme for your wedding - again wonderful displays and very professional vendors will be on hand.
Bring your groom, as there will be tons of food and beverage tastings, and a Groom's Lounge with food and basketball games on the big screen!
A big THANK YOU to all the beautiful brides who stopped by our booth at the American Heart Association Bridal Fair this weekend! Thanks to each of you, it was a successful event, and we look forward to working with many of you. It was my pleasure meeting each and every one of you. Your stories were each unique and inspiring. My sincere congratulations to each and every one of you as well as my wishes to you for a lifetime of beautiful memories.
We will honor the 10% discount for all Bridal Faire participants booking through the end of January.
As a wedding planner, the most-asked question I receive is how many Bridezillas have I worked with. Fortunately, so far, I can answer...none! With proper, organized planing that includes NO procrastination on the brides part, and someone to handle all the last minute, stressful details (ah, that would be me), there should be little or no reason at all why all brides should be anything other than completely charming on their wedding day!
Give me a call anytime to schedule your anti-Bridezilla consultation:)
The American Heart Association's Reno Bridal Faire is this Sunday, January 24th at the Grand Sierra Resort. I welcome your visit to my Booth #804, where you can receive huge discounts on all my wedding packages! Drop by and say Hi!

Yes, now is the time to get a jump on your wedding plans. Most wedding professionals say a year is not too long a time period for planning a wedding. Today, more and more brides work full time and just can’t devote that much time to their Big Day.
By attending the American Heart Association’s Bridal Faire, you’ll be able to spend your time wisely. In just one day - and in one place - you’ll have an opportunity to visit with more than 150 wedding professionals to help plan your wedding while saving time and money in the long run.
Don’t want to make quick decisions at the fair? Then bring something to take notes. Don’t be caught without any way to write down quotes from a potential ceremony site, florist, or musician.
Also prepare a sheet of address labels, and write your email address and phone number onto those labels before you attend the fair. At each booth, you may find a drawing for a prize like a free honeymoon, free flowers, dinner for two at a restaurant, or a substantial discount off of particular services. Instead of wasting your time filling out forms for each drawing, just affix the address stickers to each entry form you encounter and move along to the next booth.
Follow up with those you meet after the bridal fair while their wedding services are still fresh in your mind. The more generous wedding vendors may extend their bridal fair discounts a few days beyond the fair, especially if you hit it off well with them. But if you wait weeks or months, not only will you be paying full price, you may also find that they are no longer available on your wedding date.
