Cheri & Rodney's Wedding

Cheri and Rodney chose the Tannenbaum Lodge for their wedding and reception location. Set into the foothills of the eastern slope of Mt. Rose, Tannenbaum hosts a great venue for both a wedding site and a reception location.

Cheri and Rodney exchanged marriage vows overlooking the Carson Valley, as family and friends witnessed this special event. With bridesmaids, finely dressed and groomsmen, finely pressed, Cheri took the arm of her loving father, and walked down the grassy aisle to take the side of her love, Rodney.

The ceremony was followed with a delicious buffet featuring a delicious barbecue dinner to remember for a long time! Dancing, a slide show, and family speeches filled the remainder of the evening, and eventually, the bride and groom had their send off to their happy ever after!

Cheri & Rodney's Sneak Peek

Cheri and Rodney will be married this weekend at the Tannenbaum Lodge, located in the Galena Forest of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. They will exchange vows as close friends and family members witness their love for one another.

Cheri has chosen royal blue and white as her wedding colors, which will be accented on the guest tables and favor boxes atop each place setting. Potted mini roses will be the centerpiece for each guest table. A barbecue buffet dinner will be served following the cocktail hour.

The Tannenbaum Lodge is the perfect non-inclusive venue for a guest list of 220 or less. It offers open beam ceilings, a large stone fireplace that is open on both the foyer and dining room. Comfy leather couches and a view of the Washoe Valley miles below make it a bit like home, with a luxurious flair.

Katie & Jeff's Sneak Peek

This upcoming weekend close family members and friends will have to opportunity to see another really great couple become husband and wife. Katie and Jeff are especially wonderful, having a genuine sincerity and kindness towards others as well as a great respect and love towards one another~ such a fantastic combination, that will allow their marriage and lives to become a great success story.

Speaking of stories, they too, have a story that is unique to them.

Here is their story, told in Katie's words:

" Jeff and I first met back in high school on a triple date--except we weren't paired up with eachother! I remember thinking he was cute, but we didn't spend time together again until we attended the same university. Through our mutual interest in music we started a friendship.

The first night we hung out we talked for hours. In time, we became more than friends and have been growing in a relationship together for 3 and a half years now. I love that we are friends AND (soon to be) husband and wife. He proposed in Central Park on bended knee asking me to go on an adventure with him...and I can't wait to do just that :)"
