Nicole & Rickard~Sneak Peek

Nicole and Rickard will be married June 18th at the Rancho San Rafael Honey's Garden. After a year and a half of planning and preparing, this wonderful couple will finally become husband and wife. Their love for one another is so evident, and their respect for one another is manifest in the way they look at and treat each other. They are both great individuals, and will be even greater as they are united in marriage.



Preparations include the collection of lanterns that will be placed throughout the reception site. Fresh, wild flowers will grace each guest table, and mason jars filled with tea lights will twinkle in the dark night. The beautiful ivory and platinum satin linens will decorate each table, with shades of plum scattered throughout.



The charm and vintage feel of the Rancho San Rafael Ranch House will be evident to all guests who enter. This venue has a home-like feel, with upstairs bedrooms, perfectly suited to accommodate a bridal party and their wedding day final preparations.



The commercial kitchen and bar are fully equipped and ready for any caterer to work their culinary magic. Yes, this venue hosts the perfect combination for any wedding or event for about up to 150 guests.

Brittany & Matt's Wedding

I really love my job, but there is sometimes a sadness involved. Let me explain. You meet a couple, work with them, grow to love them, and then in one day, they are gone. Yes, I fell in love with Brittany and Matt the first time I met them. Their kindness, and impressive manners were a great reflection not only of their sweetness but of their parent's teachings as well. It is easy to feel their love.
Every detail was just as Brittany and Matt had imagined. The Rancho San Rafael Ranch House courtyard was a quaint and home-like environment to exchange their wedding vows. Huge balloons floated high in the air, and the smell of fresh flowers was everywhere.
Brittany, with her 40's style hairstyle, and looking adorable in her darling tea-length gown, glowed as her father walked her through the courtyard toward Matt. He, and his groomsmen, dressed in khakis, pale yellow Tommy Hilfiger sweaters, and chocolate Converse, anxiously awaited for Brittany to take Matt's side. The Beatles "I Will" played as she walked toward Matt. It really was a perfect day in every way, with the exception that I had to say "good bye" at the end of the day. So, off they go into their futures together, happy and in love, not only with life, but eachother, and I am left with wonderful memories of a very happy experience working with such wonderful people such as Brittany and Matt.


Brittany & Matt, it was such a privilege working with you! I will always remember your wedding day and the kindness and generosity shown to me by you and your fantastic family. My sincere best wishes for your happiness always!

Brittany & Matt's Sneak Peek

Here is our latest "Sneak Peek" featuring next week's cute couple, Brittany and Matt. As per the usual format, I asked them to tell me a bit about themselves and how they met each other.

Here is their story in Brittany's words.

"Our story is pretty simple. We met at a concert and hung out until early the next morning. We dated for about two weeks and then Matt asked me out on June 25, 2005. We've pretty much been inseparable ever since." Ahhh, love is so great, especially when it is simple.

Brittany and Matt will exchange their marriage vows on June 25th, the exact date when they began dating five years ago! For them, the scenic Rancho San Rafael Ranch House will be the place that will always hold that special memory as to where they said "I do".

Brittany and Matt are seriously the nicest couple! I am so impressed with their sincere kindness and their outstanding manners, which is a wonderful combination showing their great class and style! I am so excited and happy for them and the life they will soon share together. Only one week to go!
