Elizabeth + Arthur = Love IS Like A Butterfly..

I was overjoyed when I received the call to work on the wedding for Elizabeth and Arthur who were married on Sunday, August 15th. Love is like a butterfly- it goes where it pleases and pleases where it goes was the theme for this young couple in love.

Simply Perfect Peace Events had the pleasure of working with some great industry professionals to make their day as peaceful and magical as they dreamed it to be.  "Designs by Shay" designed and printed the programs as well as created the aisle with the assistance of Shannon, Kianna and Brittny. August Bloom, a spectacular florist, provided the outstanding bridal bouquets and alter arrangements. Make up artist "Toya Perry" did what she does best by making the bride feel more than special and glamorous with a few strokes of a brush! Special thanks to New Beginnings Church staff, David Felton (musician) and Phillip Blunt (soloist) for their support and  gracing the place with peaceful music to set the tone.

Following the ceremony the bridal party jumped in the white stretch hummer that was awaiting them and made their way to Michelle Ballroom for a fun filled reception. The Groom's mom and sister were responsible for the guest favors of candy and bubbles which were blown as the couple was announced into the reception hall.
Hope you enjoyed the sneak peak at the wonderful photo's taken by JShep Photography.

Renee + Excell = Marrying An Angel Pt.1

In addition to having the peaceful pleasure of working with an absolutely adorable couple!
Val and I enjoyed working with Trish and the entire staff at the Rialto Theater . From start to finish they were a complete joy and provided a wealth of information to make our day run as smooth as silk.

The bridal party was transported to the venue by Integrity First Limo's. Renee and Excell chose to marry at the historical Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet with the actual ceremony taking place on stage like a Broadway production. Filled with history, romance and elegance - "Marrying an Angel" came to life! Professional photographs were taken by Not On A Saturday Photography and will be coming soon. In the meantime, enjoy the beautiful amateur pictures taken with my Canon 1100 :)

The lovely Bride's hair was designed by Lati of "Styles Down the Aisles"

The creative decor was provided by In The Mood

Peaceful Weddings - Apryl + Dwayne = Unbreakable Love

Apryl and Dwayne were a really nice couple we (Thanks Val) had the pleasure of working with to plan this beautiful, detailed, and personal event for the two of them. Although brought in at the 9th hour (last minute details package), I do believe we were able to capture and carry out their vision. We were thrilled to have a great weather day so that the bride and groom were able to take wonderful photographs outside prior to the ceremony and the reception. Enjoy the beautiful pictures taken by Ronald Ewell of BeHealthy Photography.

All of Apryl's bridesmaids wore chocolate dresses to accent the shades of blue.

The groomsmen wore all white, with brown vests and blue accent ties. What a nice group of young men!
The Sabre Room provided a nice ending to a very peaceful and elegant wedding and the couple wanted to share some sweetness with their guests by providing a candy buffet in addition to their wedding cake.

Apryl & Dwayne, we loved every minute of working with you two and best wishes and many, many years of wedded happiness!

Simple & Elegant - Kim & Edward Jackson

Kimberly and Edward were a nice couple that came to us back last year and wanted a simple yet elegant wedding to celebrate the simple love that they had for each other. Kimberly loved the the deep colors combination of Coral and Brown which quickly changed to Peridot and Brown. After that the mission was location location location. We were able to secure a nice church for the ceremony and hall to host their reception. The next mission was to find the perfect, simplistic vendors that would work for the two of them. Enjoy the story of Kimberly and Edward's June 20th wedding in photographs taken by Visions of Elegance.

Edward and his groomsmen choose brown tuxes with him in ivory and the groomsmen in brown to compliment the ladies from Boss Tuxedos.

Kimberly choose to keep her accessories along the simply elegant theme. Her makeup, simple yet elegant, was the masterpiece of a well known makeup artist LaToya Perry. I love those personal touches that make your day your own!

Designs by Shay, along with assistants Kianna Patrice and Whitney Boyd, designed the invitation, programs, favors and tablescapes that were simplistic including Eiffel tower vases topped with an array of florals.

The delicious bride and groom's cakes were provided by Naples Bakery.

Congratulations Kimberly and Edward! It was an honor being part of your day and all of the love that surrounded you both. We wish you many years of happiness and prosperity.
