Carissa and Brad will be married this weekend at the Twenty Mile House, outside of Graeagle, California. Here is their sneak peek, told by the bride-to-be."Brad and I met my freshman year of college at a party where we had mutual friends. He played football at Feather River with some guys that I went to high school with. I was there to see my old friends, he was there to meet some new ones. We made some eye contact that night, but we had to get some background info from our friends before we could get involved. We didn't actually start talking until a friend's birthday party a week later. Then we were in over our heads.
It took almost a year for the two of us to get serious about being together. We still had some growing up to do and some loose ends to tie up. To make a very long story short, he called repeatedly, we met for coffee, we talked for hours, and a couple weeks later we made it official. It didn't take much longer to see that this was love. He moved in 7 months later, we got a dog, and now we're getting hitched!
They say "When you know, you know." Well, we knew before we were even ready to admit it."
It has been wonderful assisting Carissa and Brad as they have prepared and planned for their wedding day. It will be great to finally see them become husband and wife.
